This year, Prof. Loh's national outdoor math speaking tour will be focusing on the topic "Math, Invention & Life". This talk is geared towards bringing more people into doing challenging math. Prof. Loh is trying to capture the interest of 5th to 11th-grade students and their families as they're thinking about what they might spend their time doing.

A portion of the talk also covers some other ways to approach learning, focusing on developing the ability to invent (through working on hard problems, like what we see in math contests), which generalizes beyond math. That often interests parents. And more importantly, this provides a way to bring together a bunch of local families who may have similar interests.

The event is completely free for all participants. We are able to do this because the work is sponsored by the online math courses (https://live.poshenloh.com), which he will mention as one example of using math to invent new systems.

罗博深教授曾在学生时期斩获国际奥数IMO银牌，先后在世界顶级理工学府加州理工、剑桥、普林斯顿完成本科和硕博，后因顶尖的讲授数学能力和独特风格受邀成为美国奥数队总教练，四次带领美国队拿下世界冠军，并多次受到《华盛顿邮报》、《纽约时报》等各大知名媒体报道。罗教授不仅热衷于为学生们建立更好的数学教育，也一直在通过其研发和创新工作来对社会贡献力量。为帮助控制疫情增长，罗教授亲自带头研发了新冠雷达检测应用NOVID。

在2021年底，通过live.poshenloh.com，他和团队也开始致力于帮助更多中小学生建立全新的数学生态网络。
